According
to the EPA, paper and paperboard represent 38.1%
by weight of the municipal solid waste stream.
When the materials that you recycle go into new
products, they don't go into landfills or incinerators,
so scarce landfill space is conserved. BUY RECYCLED!

THE ACE
GALLERY
This
Gallery is HUGE! We went to the Robert
Wilson opening party and we didn't
get to see everything, so we have
to go back. This exhibit is mind blowing.
All the images are video projections
and the subjects in the image move,
but so slow, that you wouldn't notice
unless you are starring at it. It
was
really something unusual and it was
very Robert Wilson. His colors and
his composition is clean, crisp and
really beautiful! The ACE GALLERY is displaying artwork that is of Museum quality and I highly recommend it for
everyone to visit it at least once!

DOWNTOWN
ART WALK
The second
Thursday of every month in
Downtown Los Angeles a
bunch of galleries, lofts,
art studios, and businesses
get together and open their
doors from
12 - 9 p.m. to
inspire us all. It is an
amazing array of paintings,
sculptures,
photographs, pottery, furniture,
jewelry, clothing, interactive
art and more. I always
meet some great people,
make new
friends, get new ideas,
get inspired and stimulated,
and
I can't get enough, and
I have to go back for more
stimuli
the following month. It's
best to take the Metro
Red Line (Pershing Square) because
you'll be walking. If
you visit their website,
you can print
out a black and white
map showing you all the
participating spaces
and their Metro connections.
Don't miss this event! It's
FREE, it's fun, it's
the best thing on the
second Thursday
of each month!

GALLERY
REVISITED
This
gallery surprises me time and
again with their inventive
works and their creative efforts. Always
inspirational, even if it's
just a small gallery, its overwhelming
visually what they offer. All
of their artwork is exceptional!
Sometimes its art that is made
out of disposable items, sometimes
its art that makes the entire
wall into a 3D experience,
but most of the time it's art
that you want to take home
with you and stare at it, and
study it, and tell your friends
all about it. I love this gallery!
It's also easily accessible
with the Metro Gold Line. The
Bamboo Lane is surrounded by
a lot of other galleries, and
also plenty of restaurants.
Go once and you'll never look
at art the same way again!
